AII too soon, at Huron ResidentiaI Hospice, CIinton, John Jew passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018. Born, Soong Yook Jew, in China, John was 87 years oId. John and his wife, Yen wiII remain icons of Seaforths Main Street, as owners of Wongs GriII, for many years. Their hard work ethic, dellcious food and friendIy service wiII be remembered by many who have caIIed Seaforth home.
John wiII be IovingIy remembered by his chiIdren Iinda Jew of Toronto, Doris (George) Jung of Brampton, Doug Jew of WaterIoo and Pat Jew of Brampton. John wiII aIso be fondIy remembered by grandsons Jeff and Kevin Jung and great-grandson Kai. John is predeceased by his wife, Yen (March 2016).
Visitation wiII take pIace at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth (519-527-1390), on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Private famiIy interment wiII take pIace at Egmondville Cemetery at a Iater date.

So sorry to hear of John&&single&&s passing. His family restaurant on Main St. was an iconic part of our street scape and we all enjoyed the great food and service.
Very sorry to hear of John&&single&&s passing. John and Yen were such wonderful, friendly people. Always taking the time to stop and have a chat with young and old. Their presence in the Seaforth Community will be missed by so many. As they rest gently in peace, may you the family find comfort in the wonderful memories you will hold so dear.
I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I have many memories of your parents at Wongs and at the store, Sills Home Hardware. He was a very lovely man and I so enjoyed our chats.

Mr. Jew was a very nice man and a great business man, his smile was contagious . He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Linda, Doris, Doug, Pat and families, Sincere condolences for the loss of your Dad, John was a very special person we spent many hours in there restaurant, it was our favorite place to eat. John and Yen were connected at the hips, and he took such good care of her weather she wanted him to or not. It was a honour to work with them in all there realestate transactions, throughout the years.
John never skipped a beat, he always had time for a chit chat on his way to and from picking up the mail, I will really miss our conversations, from a such very knowledgeable mind and gentle soul. Our Thoughts and Prayers to you all. Rest in peace John God Bless
