I was so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. I remember trying to find mom (Jackie McComb) one day at McGarrell Place and found her with Bob and Donna in their room. It was a pleasure talking to him.

Bob was a treasured part of my daily visits to see Bruce at McGarrell Place … always an endearing smile and greeting, a warm hug, and a hearty laugh that followed his quick witted commentary on the news of the day! We will miss Bob and the joy he brought to our home!

I have met Bob a number of times over the last 40 or so years, as he was the father of my friend, Lois, Bob’s daughter. He was such a lovely & sweet man who always had a welcoming smile on his face. I last saw him at Donna’s funeral, and we had such a nice little chat. I was flattered that he remembered me after so many years. He worked so hard & did so well for his wife & children – & his cows. He was very much a people-person, & will be dearly missed by his family. May his dear soul rest in peace, along with his dear wife, Donna.
