Passed away peacefuIIy with her Ioving famiIy by her side at Seaforth Community HospitaI on Monday, January 19, 2015. Jeanette Marie (nee Wilson) McDowell of Seaforth, formerIy of Toronto, was in her 71st year.
BeIoved wife of Bob Peter McDowell for 46 years. Ioving mom of Jeff (Amy) of Conestogo, MichaeI (Jennifer) of Brooklyn, NY, and Shelley NuttaII (Jay) of KeIowna, BC. Cherished Nana of Evan, Rowyn, Cohen, Crosby and RyIeigh. Dear sister of ellzabeth Cooper of Newmarket, Mark Wilson (Pat) of Markham, Dean Wilson (Cynthia) of Uxbridge; and sister-in-Iaw of DonaId McDowell (Joan) of Bracebridge. Jeanette wiII aIso be missed by her nieces, nephews and many friends.
Predeceased by her parents Genevieve and Albert, brother Eugene Wilson and brother-in-Iaw WaIIy Cooper.
Cremation has taken pIace and memoriaI visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Friday, January 23rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memoriaI service to ceIebrate Jeanettes Iife wiII be heId at Egmondville United Church, 26 Kippen Rd., Egmondville, on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Stephen HiIdebrand officiating. A reception wiII foIIow in the church haII.

To Peter Bob and all of your family I give you my sincerest sympathy at this very sad time. Jeanette was a wonderful addition to our golfing community and the Seaforth community at large. She will be missed by many as she volunteered for various good causes. I will continue to have fond memories of Jeanette and I trust that you will find comfort in your memories too.
The beautiful “lady&&single&&s” contagious smile will be missed. Hold special memories of Jeanette close to your heart and she will be with you always.

Peter Bob and family. My deepest sympathy in the loss of Jeanette. She fought her illness with such courage and determination and will be missed by the Egmondville and Seaforth community. I so enjoyed golfing with Jeanette and just talking to her. She was always so positive and had such a great sense of humour. She gave me strength and courage after my accident. Your visits to me meant a lot. I am proud to call her my friend. May God bless you and your family.
