My deepest sympathy to Greg, Pat, Francis and the rest of your family. Jean is a big part of my memories of growing up. I can still hear her calling Greg from her back porch and Greg hiking it across the field to get home. Jean was always there when mom needed her and they shared their joys and their pain. John and I are away so we will not be able to be there to share memories but we will be thinking of you.

Our sympathy to the Armstrong Family ,
Floyd & Jean were our ” back fence ” neighbours for a number of dairy farming years.
In later yrs., Jean would on occasion join us for supper time dessert & chatter when she delivered Avon products .
Thinking of you & wishing you memories of good times shared .

Condolence from Denise on November 8th, 2018 7:00 PM

Oh the memories! Where to start. Growing up and going to the farm was one of the greatest memories I have. I thought it was weird having milk from a cow. Aunt Jean was like a second Mom. She was always happy to see you but wouldn’t hesitate to give you a piece of her mind or put you in your place. She loved her “dolly girls” but always had a special spot for the boys. As we grew up she was always ready to have fun and show us she could keep up with us youngins. Maybe even outlasted a few. I am sure going to miss her smiles, hugs and kisses.
Love you Aunt Jean.

Condolence from Marg Deichert on November 8th, 2018 8:00 PM

Memories will get you through this difficult time. Keeping you in my thoughts & prayers.

I am sorry for your loss. In the later years our paths crossed numerous times – be it at the hospital, SMNH or assisting Jean getting her oranges/grapefruits off the truck at the Agriplex. Sometimes it was quite a load for her scotter and sometimes the weather wasn&&single&&t the best so she told me how to get them in her garage. Jean also told me how, as a young girl she would holiday with her Uncle Louis and Aunt Beatrice and couldn&&single&&t wait to get across the road to visit with the Reid girls- Anna, Ruby and Doris. Jean said they always made “mud pies”. Jean enjoyed life and will be missed.
