Smith, James (Jim). Peacefully, at his late residence on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 of Exeter in his 56th year. Beloved husband of Sharon (McMurray) Smith. Dear father of Sherri and John Van Massenhoven of Parkhill, Tracy Wuerth of Huron Park and Chad Smith of Hensall. Dear grandfather of Lucas and Logan; and Parker and Payton. Dear son of Evelyn Smith of Lucan and the late Harold Smith (1980) and son-in-law of Mary McMurray and Ivan Luther of Exeter and Don McMurray of Lucknow. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Gail and Ed Fox of Bobcaygeon, Russ, Wayne and Heather, Bob and Brenda, Harold and Mary, David and Denise and Peter and Patti Smith all of Lucan, Larry and Lynn of London, Sharon and Tony Marten of Goderich, Darlene and Rick Forrest of Centralia, Jeanette Smith and Doug House of Crediton, Cheri and Paul Smith of Exeter and Rick and Karen McMurray of Lucknow. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Friday 7-9 PM where the memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17th at 11 AM with The Rev’d Brad Dunbar officiating. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the LHSC-London Regional Cancer Program would be appreciated by the family.
