I was saddened to hear of Jim’s passing but he is now free of pain.
Jim was very supportive of the Lucan Area Heritage & Donnelly Museum and I will miss his late telephone calls asking what is new at the museum. He was a great guy and will be missed for not only his talents as an artist but as a kind and generous friend. .

It was our pleasure to get to know Jim when he moved to Ailsa Craig and was out and about in the community. He was always a pleasure to meet and had such a joyful, accepting attitude towards life. He worked hard on a display for our Gala Days this summer. We will miss our chats and seeing him shopping on his scooter.

Sorry to hear of the passing of my cousin. I have a pen and ink sketch of our ancestral farmhouse near Blyth, done in 1988, right in this very room. Thanks Jim.

So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing from my Auntie Joan Dobbie. She had helped Jim over the years. She is now residing in London since her last fall on the 5th and we just found out this past weekend by Craigwell staff.
