We were very sorry to read of Jim’s passing. Milt enjoyed working with Jim in Hay Township many years ago. As well we always had a great time at the fish frys at your cottage and good chats whenever we met. Obviously he was a super ‘family man’ as one can see by the many photos of him involved in family life. We were deeply saddened to learn of Jim’s passing. He has been an active volunteer with Workplace Safety & Prevention Services (WSPS) and formerly with Farm Safety Association (FSA) for over 15 years. In addition to being a member of FSA’s Board of Directors for nine years, Jim was a dedicated volunteer who participated on WSPS’s Agriculture Advisory Committee and Rural Volunteer Advisory Groups, in addition to working in his community to help others understand the importance of health and safety on the farm.

His passion for creating a culture of health and safety in the agriculture industry was evident to all of those who had the privilege of working with him. He was a leader who helped to guide the work of WSPS and he left a legacy that we will build the future upon.
