Condolence from Don Bowie on October 14th, 2010 11:37 AM

To Jim’s Family,
I worked with Jim at Christies off and on for several years and really enjoyed his company when we had the opportunity to work together. I’ll always remember Jim as a real gentleman, for the great career he had at Christies, and for all the good times we had with the rest of the Reps that worked out of the old London Sales Branch. I was very sorry to hear about Jim’s sudden passing and would like to pass along my deepest condolences.

Condolence from Ken Smith on October 14th, 2010 6:03 PM

To jim’s family,
I was very sorry to hear of Jim’s passing, please accept my sincere condolences.
I worked with Jim for several years (1979 to about 1982) at the London Sales Branch and also saw him many times at meetings in the years up to his retirement.
Gentlemen Jim, as many of us called him was respected by his peers, customers and the Christie management. Jim was surely the sharpest dresser of the time. My memory of Jim still is with me today. It was my first day at the London office. As a new Sales Supervisor assigned to London, Jim took it upon himself to help orientate me to the new surroundings and also the city of London. Jim as always a sales leader, his customers could count on him and appreciated his contribution to their business.
Sincerely
Ken Smith
