At South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Monday, March 10, 2003 James (Jim) Alexander Chalmers of Exeter in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Mildred (McCormick) Chalmers. Dear father of Ron and Diane Chalmers of Clinton, Ken Chalmers and Stacey Chalmers both of Oakville, Carol and Doug Miners of Elimville, Shirley Chalmers of Clinton, and Laurie and Andrea Chalmers of Georgetown. Dear grandfather of Corinne and Stephanie; Ryan, Kerry and Jaime; Danielle, John, Justin and Kelly. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Bob and Bunny Chalmers, Norm Chalmers, Peg Chalmers and Jeanne Chalmers all of Sarnia and Jim Turner of Wainwright, Alberta. Predeceased by sisters Marie Turner and Gertrude Portiss and brothers Jack, Harvey and Donald.     Friends may call at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the complete funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13th at 1:30 pm with Pastor Kevin Rutledge officiating. Cremation with interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. There will be a Legion Service in the funeral home Wednesday evening at 6:45 PM  under the auspices of the Exeter Legion, R.E. Pooley Branch No. 167.
