I have golfed with Jean many times. She was always smiling, enthusiastic and so much fun to be with. She will be missed by so many of the ladies in the Tuesday Golf League and the Golf Buddies League. I am so sorry for your loss.

She will not be forgotten by the many ladies who enjoyed her company walking the long 9th hole…..she did complain loudly about how LONG it was…. and her presence at our many functions and weekly lunches.
Jean’s faith was such that she, most likely now, is enjoying a whole new life beyond this one. We can hope to meet again!

We are shocked and saddened at this sad news. I met Jean through work as we both were in financial institutions but got to know her better through the South Huron Community Choir and Church. She always had a smile, was very positive and always interested in what you were doing. I know how excited and proud she was to be a Grandma. I last spoke to Jean, although briefly, at the choir Christmas program and will cherish that conversation. Jean made such an impact on my life in such a short time. As a neighbour, Bill and I would say hi to her from across the fence. One day, our quick chat became longer when Jean mentioned that South Huron Community Choir was looking for an accompanist. That was the beginning of a beautiful friendship and common interest in music. She was a humble person who did a lot in the background to keep the choir running like a well – oiled machine, but did not like to be in the limelight. There is a huge void now, and Jean will be dearly missed.
