At LHSC-University Hospital, London on Sunday, August 14, 2011 of RR 2 Denfield in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of Debbie (Mallett) Carty. Dear father of Tina Carty of Windsor. Dear grandfather of Portia Marie. Dear son-in-law of Nancy and Angus Mallett of London. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Gary and Barb Dunlop of Crediton, Carl and Sheila Dunlop of RR 2 Denfield, Heather and Wayne Smith, Dennis Carty of Lucan, Aleatha Brown and Louie Wayner all of Lucan, Wayne Carty of London, Darrell and Shirl Carty of London, Barb and Terry Roberts of Miller Lake and Scott Mallett and Marla of London. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Roland and Thelma Carty.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Wednesday, August 17th from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm where a celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 PM. (Please dress country casual). Cremation.

Please accept our deepest sympathy in Mike’s passing. He fought a great fight and as a family we have great memories of years gone by. Memories of when we were young and shared New Years Day at Uncle Rollie’s, as well as the great trips to Prospect Hill for swimming with the cows.
Mike will be greatly missed and a huge missing link in the Carty family chain.
