leonard Bruce Teatero of Egmondville passed away peacefuIIy at his home surrounded by the Iove of his famiIy, after a hard fought battIe with cancer on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at the age of 47.
BeIoved husband and best friend of Donna (nee OConnell) Teatero for 25 years. Cherished dad of Missy, Matthew and MacKenzie Teatero. Dear son of Frances Teatero of Egmondville; and son-in-Iaw of Larry OConnell of Mitchell and June OConnell (Nick Pappert) of TiIsonburg. AIso survived by his brothers Larry Teatero (Denise) and their chiIdren Stephen and James of Grimsby, Ieo Teatero (EmmanueI Robin) of MontreaI and Iorne Teatero (Kelly collins) and their chiIdren Seth and Sonya of BrucefieId. Ien wiII aIso be missed by his extended famiIy and many friends. Predeceased by his father Ieo Teatero (1993).
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Thursday, October 11th from 7-9 p.m. and wiII continue on Friday, October 12th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeraI service to ceIebrate Iens Iife wiII be heId at St. Thomas AngIican Church, 5 Jarvis St. N., Seaforth, on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. foIIowed by a reception at the church. Private interment wiII take pIace at a Iater date. In Iieu of fIowers, memoriaI donations to the I.R.C.C. or St. ellzabeth HeaIth Care wouId be appreciated. You guys are great people with a big heart and im so glad I got to know you! We&&single&&ve had lots of laughs and good times at the dealership. Anyway, more importantly…. This note&&single&&s for you!
I will never forget you Len, your smile, your laugh, your awesome personality and sense of humour, the way you made my
face turn beat red so easily and the way you liked to tease me about
being a “hick” and a country girl, or should i say “tom boy”. You liked
to remind me how I have so much to learn about the world and you
Wanted to teach me about airplanes lol. You couldnt believe how clueless
I was when it came to planes and different facts about the world and oh ya rock bands lol. You always had time to talk to me when I came into the dealership even when you really didnt have time or shouldve been working. You&&single&&ve taught me a lot about life, relationships, and family. Not only in words but also in your actions and the little things i picked up on when visting. Im so glad you got to meet my baby girl Brooke! Especially since you never thought Id have kids lol. Ill be sure to tell her about you when she gets older.
One thing Im not clueless about is how strong Len fought and what its like to lose ur dad. (When I was 17 my dad died at age 40 in a motorcycle accident.)
Everytime i came to the shop to visit you guys I always thought to myself
wow Len and Donna are the perfect couple! You two were two peas
in a pod. Got along so good, had so much in common, and were
ment to be together. And because of that I know that you, Donna, will be just as strong as Len was and get through this battle. Missy, Matt, and Kenzie, you all have traits of your dad in you. Donnas told me Missy gets her brains from Her dad, Matt&&single&&s voice and personality is so similar to Lens, and Kenzie you have your dads traits like being a smooth talker. I bet thats how you get the girls. Your family is my idol! I bet youre all thinking oh my god shes crazy but take it as a huge compliment!
Although Len isnt physically here anymore, theres a piece in your heart thatll always be there! You have a close family relationship and thatll help you all so much! Share the funny moments and the good stories and laugh and keep smiling, Thats what hed want to see!
You guys have the most special guardian angel now and he&&single&&ll be watching over you day by day :) keep smiling, and until we meet again Len…Love you guys! Jenn

My deepest sympathy to the Teatero family…my son Pat was in the blood transfusion clinic different times when Len was there…Pat went to SDHS also -couple of years younger but he knew Len..Pat passed away a year ago but I remember him saying that hopefully Len could make it especially since he had a family that needed him…life just isn&&single&&t fair…they were both too young for this!

Dear Donna & family, we just heard today that Lenny has gone to heaven. We are so sad he lost his battle and he put up a good fight. He was a true friend and such a wonderful person. It doesn&&single&&t seem fair but I guess God needed another angel.
