Condolence from Jo-Anne Hodgins on November 14th, 2012 1:59 PM

To the Holtzmann Family,
38 years ago Jon and I were living in London, newly married and finding our way. One visit home, upon going into the store to purchase groceries, Howie’s gentle welcome, and interest in all who entered his store convinced me that I needed to come ‘home’. I was missing Exeter and all of the goodness that comes from community and our rural roots. We moved back to Exeter shortly thereafter, made our life, raised our kids and never looked back.
Howie was a ‘good man’, a family man, and the backbone of a town that cares.
May your memories give you peace.
Sincerely, Jo-Anne Dinney Hodgins
