Very sad to see another classmate leave us. I have good memories of Cathy. My sincere condolences.

Cathy was one of my first cousins on the Hannigan side. I have wonderful childhood memories of the times the extended family would gather in Exeter at our Grandma Hannigan’s. Cathy would always be there, and as we were relatively close in age we spent a fair bit of time together. She was fun-loving and friendly, a favourite among the cousins. Those were good years, ones that I think were important for Cathy. In later life, she bore her illness and circumstances with courage. My wife Janice got to know Cathy in those later years and greatly admired her. Now may you rest in peace, Cathy.

My thanks to all of her friends in the Exeter area who cared for her and visited her at Exeter Villa in those difficult final years.

It was with great sadness when I heard of Cathy’s passing. To Cathy’s family and friends, please accept my deepest condolences.

Cathy and I became friends while working at Western University. We went on a trip to Portugal and had the most wonderful time. Cathy also joined our family on a vacation to PEI. We will hold on to these wonderful memories of Cathy.

My cousin Cathy was an incredibly special person. I remember visiting with her, Steve, Aunt Mary & Uncle Hal at every opportunity when my family visited with my Grandma Hannigan.
