Sorry to hear of your loss of Joe. Miss seeing him getting involved with the community pictures. He always had his camera in hand and not just any cellphone piece but a real camera. Must have caught lots of memories for you to share with the family. Will be thinking of you Sheila and your family.

Joe was a wonderful friend. When I was very young, Joe, 12 years my senior, would talk photography and astronomy for hours on end. He had me over to peer at the heavenly wonders through a telescope that I eventually purchased from him, when he got a better one.

Joe always had time for me and my friends. Thelma would make tea and coffee for us kids when we visited to talk sciences with Joe.

A wonderful, kind, gentle soul. I always assumed I’d get to see him one more time.

I am sorry to hear of the loss of Joe. Years ago he was one of my customers when we were delivering milk door to door for Hearn’s Dairy. I enjoyed my weekly chats with him.

I used to see Joe at the coffee shop and he always made time to have a visit with me. I really enjoyed our conversations, as he had many keen interests and was always engaging to talk to. He was indeed a very kind soul and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, Joe.
