We were deeply saddened to hear the news of Doris’ passing. We had recently learned that she was not doing well but had hoped she would come back to her old self. She is now at peace. Aunt Doris and my Grandma did everything together, and Arica and I did everything together…including driving our grandmas crazy. Running up and down the stairs between their two apartments, making a mess with their “dress up” clothes, and eating all their snacks. And y’know, I don’t think they’d have it any other way. I have such wonderful memories of times spent at your Mom’s and the times she spent with Mom and Dad, they always had such a great time and of course the ladies the shopping expeditions were one of Mom’s favourite times, she always had such great stories when she came home. And your Mom made the BEST butter tarts. I hope all the memories you have in your heart will give you strength and peace during these difficult times.
