Condolence from Dan Kennedy on February 27th, 2022 10:31 AM

Our deepest sympathy to the Hern family. Gord was a very good man. Everybody liked Gord Hern. He had such a personable personality and ease about him. Our family first met Gord as a young man in the mid-1970’s Ailsa Craig, Ontario. I always thought he looked like the Hollywood actor Peter Fonda. What a tragic loss. There are just simply good people in our lives who will never leave us even after they are gone. Rest in peace Gord ❤

So sorry to hear of Gord’s passing. An excellent farmer, a great role model in caring for the soil, Gord was always willing to lend a hand or discuss options. A true loss to the agricultural community, as well as to you all. My thoughts ar with you.

So sorry to hear of Gords passing. He was such a great guy, neighbour, farmer and friend! I’ll always remember Gords red ford truck driving down the gravel road. Him stopping in, or stopping on the road to talk. Got some great advice from Gord over the years and he’ll be missed.

Thinking of his family during this sad time.
