To the Hearn family:
Please accept our deepest sympathy at this time of a loss of mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Kit will be missed for sure. I taught at Lucan Public for seven years when Kit taught at Biddulph Central. We shared a lot of laughs when we were supposed to be listening at staff meetings, worked through many problems that would crop up, discussed topics of interest, attended fun staff parties, chatted about how times had changed, and met at a few reunions over the years. Kit was always smiling, laughing, chatting, enjoying life. It was a pleasure to know her and to work with her. As our churches became the Group of Seven over the past year and a half, I have heard more about Kit and her steadfastness in the church and her faith. She has been a wonderful example for all your family to follow. God bless each of you.

It saddens me to hear of Mrs Hearns passing. She was my grade 5 teacher.Wow where did the years go , seems like yesterday.40 + yrs.
I often think of her when I go back to my elementry days. She was firm in her approach… however she impressed me,she was a special teacher because she cared, she treated every child the same. I recall her bringing the London Free Press in for the children who didnt have access to it, so we could participate fully in current events. We can never underestimate how a kind act can make such an impact on peoples lives—thanks Mrs Hearn for being that special kind person!
