Oh, Louise, thank you and thank you again, for driving Ken up to visit, even if it was just a short visit, last year… and for finding me. Oh, thank, you so much.
When I was a wee gal, I loved him with all my heart. I had the biggest 2 year olds, crush on the man, he was my rock and I loved it, when he blushed so many, many years later, as he recalled me asking him to wait till’ I got all grown up to marry. At two I had asked him to marry me, and he promised he would, but he never did make the promise that he would wait for me to get all grown up….
Life has a way of passing by too quickly, the good old days, we are making right now, and the ones gone by are priceless in the many memories that I am sure you have of this wonderful man. I send my love and prayers to you, your family, and too his many sisters and brothers. The elder ones use to put socks on my hands when we went to their home to visit, the Hayter Clan, on the farm, between Lucan and Exeter… The floors were cold, frost came in, between the boards, in the winter, but that was the only thing cold. The hearts of the Hayter Family were burning bright, they had love, hope and were always willing to help someone else. That is how Ken grew up and that is how he was. Great times, great memories and many lessons learned.
Love to all. Diane
