Charlie, Leila and Brenda were great neighbours on York Crescent for a long time .. it was a good place to live & good people lived around the Crescent. Memories are important. Brenda always greeted you with a smile & a minute to chat.

Saddened to read of her passing. Seems like a month ago I was glad to see her walking on main street in Hensall. It was great that about two months ago we stopped and talked together on our way from the post office. Remembering with great fondness this gentle soul that worked with many of us for years at Fleck Manufacturing. May God’s peace console you.

So sorry to hear of Brenda’s passing, she has lived in Hensall all her life. When you drive down Main Street of Hensall you just expect to see Brenda either coming or going downtown, she will be missed

Condolences to Brenda’s family from the Veal family. Brenda and her parents and sister were neighbours of ours for years. Great people and Brenda was always a friendly face in the neighborhood.

Brenda will be greatly missed in Hensall where so she worked helping out at the church or where ever needed. She was loving customer of mine for many years. My sincere sympathy to her family.

To all who knew and loved Brenda, we send our Heartfelt Condolences.

I remember Mrs. Verna Hay telling me that Brenda was moving to Lorne Crescent and would be in my class at Hensall Public School. That would be about 60years ago.

Over the years, Brenda and I have had meaningful chats in the Medical Centre waiting room, on King St. or at the post office. Sometimes she’d be in ‘the Cozy’ with her devoted neighbour ladies, after their morning walks. We chatted about our most recent craft projects, the weather, family, etc.

It’s constant folks like Brenda that have woven the tapestry of our ‘wee home town/village’. She will be remembered…she will be missed.

You always made time to stop and chat for a moment. Your smile made everyone smile back. Hensall will miss you, RIP Brenda.

I worked with Brenda many years ago at the dry cleaners in Hensall, and more recently I have seen her out on her morning walks. Brenda was always sweet and kind, and always smiling.

Brenda was a dear life long friend who will be missed.

I will miss seeing and having a chat with Brenda in Hensall. We always kept in touch since our days at #7 Stanley on the Parr Line.

So sad to read of Brenda’s passing. I send condolences to her friends and family. Brenda and I met in first grade in Zurich Public School. We have corresponded for all these years with letters, cards and in recent years phone calls. I will truly miss our communications. She was a faithful friend for many years even though I left the Zurich area over 50 years ago. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who will feel this loss.

I first met Brenda when I went to public school at S.S. #7, Stanley Township. We always had a great phone visit on her Birthday . Brenda will be missed by her public school friends, as well, as the Hensall community.

Brenda was a good neighbour, with a constant smile, for many years. Rest peacefully Brenda.

I worked with Brenda at Fleck Manufacturing 1976-78. We kept in touch every year at Christmas time and for birthdays…through letters and phone calls. She was a wonderful friend. She will be missed.

Brenda and I went to public school on The Parr Line in Varna. She never forgot a birthday or Christmas card and she always asked about our family. We too often met up with her in Hensall or Exeter. Our sincere condolences to Brenda’s family. Also to her special friends where she was often part of their family circle, she will be missed. Deepest sympathy to all.
