Suddenly, at his late residence on Friday, April 24, 2009 Harvey Allen Hillman of Exeter and formerly of Clachan in his 80th year. Loving husband to Esther (Adler) Hillman. Wonderful father to Debbie and Mark Burr of Forest, Lynda and Randy Rapley of Grand Bend, Wendy and Ben Sitek of Petrolia and Benjie and Elly Hillman of Exeter. Dear grandfather of Wesley and Belinda, Benjamin, David, Jacob and Rachel; Jesiqua; Bobi-Jo and Travis, Cory and great-grandfather of Zach, Ryder and Tyce. Dear brother and brother-in-law of William Hillman and the late Wilma, George and Bonnie Hillman, Ron and Elaine Hillman, Marilyn and Gord Somerville and Fred and Susan Adler. Also survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Ethel Hillman, grandson Derik Whiting and grandson-in-law Chad Van Meenen. Harvey was a life-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #167 and secretary for the Centralia-Huron Park Lions Club. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Monday evening 6-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 28th at 11 AM with Bob Heywood officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #167-Building Fund or the South Huron Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
