At South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Friday, September 27, 2013 of Exeter in his 63rd year. Dear father of Sheri of Innerkip, Scott and Tammy Harris of Hensall, Tracy Harris and Jake Widdis of Shipka and Brent Harris of Exeter. Dear grandfather of Cameron. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Mike Harris and Lynn Rose of Toronto and Carol and Gary Daubs of London. Also remembered by Pam Harris of Exeter.
Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter (1 street west of Main) from 12:30 – 1:30 PM, where a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 1st at 1:30 PM. Cremation.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

My thoughts go out to the Harris family at this sad time. I have the pleasure of working with Brent at Hayters Turkey, and years ago knew Scott as a young man. So sorry to hear of your loss.

To all the Harris children, and spouses, and Cam. I am so sorry to hear about Jerry’s passing. I hope he did not suffer much, and for very long. I know you all have different memories of your dad, and I hope you will be able to hold some of those close to your heart, to bring you strength and comfort in the days ahead. Please also pass on the Pam Harris, that I am so sorry to hear about Jerry. I know that her and Jerry still shared a friendship, after all these years, that would have lasted a life time. And I am so sorry for her loss also. I am thinking of you all during the extremely hard time, and sending warm thoughts and hugs your way.

To the entire Harris family .. Our Hearts and Thoughts and Deepest Sympathy are with you at this time from all of us. I have known Jerry over 40 yrs . All i can say … cause i have soooo much to say … i’am 1st . ( Pam.Brent.Tracy.Scott.Sheri.Bonnie and all direct family) so sorry of your news ,and while its true we all grieve in different ways the mans travel thru life was cut short ,and while we all try to make sense of it all ,we must remain focused and continue our paths. Fond Memories make the path much clearer.. 2nd … I personally would like to thank Pam for taking me in to there home in 1980 and making me feel at home.. I will miss his delightful laugh and smile… I Love you guys… i am so sorry .
