At Sunnybrook Health Science Centre, Toronto on Monday, August 22, 2011 of Toronto and formerly Lucan in his 78th year. Dearly missed by his partner Maurice Parker of Toronto. Dear brother Carole and Ron Coleman of London, Tom and Erna Brooke of Poplar Hill and Janis Bergamin of Windsor. Also remembered by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his sister Beverley Allen and brother-in-law Bill Allen.
A private graveside service will be held at St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye on Saturday, August 27th with The Rev’d Andreas Thiel officiating.
Donations to Holy Trinity Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.

I will forever treasure the memories I have – great times at Port Franks always laughing (could have been the Martinis) – but more importantly how good you were to Grandma Oney – flying her to Toronto to visit – she adored you…xo
God’s speed and peace be with you Uncle Harold. We shared some fantastic glorious times throughout the years. A toast to your life with us as we will always remember you. In our thoughts and memories you will never be that far away……….God Bless!

My thoughts of Harold go back many years to the early times of our education in Lucan Public and Lucan High schools. I am sorry to learn of his death. I am sure that his soul is resting with our loving Heavenly Saviour. God Speed.
We will always remember the trips to the cemetary every summer and remembering all people we knew
remembering coming to Smiths Falls on the train and bringing me Champaign and Camembert cheese for my birthday

I remember Harold as a happy friendly class mate, always smiling, in early school days in Lucan. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
I will miss you Hardy! I will remember the dinners I was invited to by you and Maurice. I will miss the most beautiful Christmas cards I ever recieved. I will always remember your thoughtful note when my dad died. I will remember Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve with you and your sisters.
