Surrounded by a lifetime of love and memories, Labelle passed away peacefully at Blue Water Rest Home in Zurich on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the age of 102. Loving wife of the late Harold Harness (2000). Cherished mother of Marlene and Bill Charters. Adored grandma of Robert Charters (Ian) and Leanne (Mark) MacDonald and great-grandma of Russell MacDonald (Olivia) and Bessie MacDonald (Dustin). Predeceased by her infant sons, Barry Thomas Harness (1951) and Kevin William Harness (1957), brother and sister-in-law, Victor Lutman (2004) and Wilda Lutman (1998) and her parents William and Rhoda (Cornish) Lutman.
A private family funeral service will be held at a later date. Interment Exeter Cemetery.
Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Leanne and Mark and family wow she lived a long life with many stories to tell.

My condolences to you all. Labelle was a pleasure to know. I cleaned her place at the Exeter Villa and always had great chats. Missed her when she left as she always said hello to me and had such a smile & a hug. Treasure the memories!

I was sad to learn of your Mom’s passing. She was a special lady, I have fond memories from my childhood days with her. Even though she is out of sight she will always have a space in my heart. Hold onto your memories she is only a thought away.

She and my mother, Dorothy, were childhood friends and both resided at Exeter Villa for a time. I will always remember Labelle as a truly kind and considerate lady.
