It is saddening to lose this wonderful friend. Val and I became neighbours 15 years ago and even when we both moved, we stayed in touch and continued a special friendship. Big hearty laughs, car rides, and memories that are so very valuable now. To John, Jeff and families, you have my sympathy. Go In Peace Val, xo Maryjane. Club Night will not be the same without you.

Velma always came to me for advice on her vehicles in recent years and her trust in us was always appreciated. Her husband Ron used to deliver glass bottles of milk to our doorstep way back in the day!My thoughts are with you all.

My condolences. Velma was a great neighbour to my mom in Norwood Village. She and my mom had a code worked out so she would know my mom was okay without having to check on her every day. When mom went into the nursing home in Ailsa Craig, Ron and Velma would visit mom. Such good people. Hold onto all the great memories!!!
