HALL: Gwendolyn ‘Gwen’ Marie (Densmore) of London

Passed away at LHSC – University Hospital, London on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the age of 63.

Beloved mother of Jeff (Krista) Hall and Chris (Nina) Hall. Proud grandma of Karmen, and Kaycie. Dear sister of Ron (Barb) Densmore, Dean (Jackie) Densmore, and Brian (Maria) Densmore. Fondly remembered by Pat Holland and Mary Beth Billick.  Gwen will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by her parents Nancy (Don) Ruddy and Vince Densmore, and her sister Rita.

Gwen found happiness by the water, especially at the beach. She enjoyed painting rocks and how each rock provided her with a unique canvas. Dolphins always held a special place in her heart, as did the many laughs she shared with friends and family. Gwen will be remembered for her kindness, her appreciation for life’s simple pleasures, and her wish to spread happiness and peace wherever she could.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Gwen’s life will be held at the Lions Active Living Centre at the Lucan Community Centre, 263 Main Street on Sunday, November 23rd from 1 – 5 PM.

Donations to the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre – LHSF or Anova, London would be appreciated by the family.

To the Hall and Densmore family,

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Gwen has left us far too soon. A few years ago, we happened to cross paths and shared some fond school memories and laughter. I know there are no words that can truly ease the pain of this loss, but please know that you are in my thoughts. Her spirit will always remain with you — a lasting presence to cherish.

Many members of my family were friends with many of the Densmore clan.
Jim and Rita, Bob and Dean, Donna and Gwen. We lived close to each other and there were many fun visits back and forth. I remember Gwen as always being a bright light with a huge smile and wonderful laugh. Such a joy to be around. Sending the Densmore family much love and light as they navigate this time of loss.
