We are so saddened to hear about Betty’s passing. She was such a gem of a lady and loved her family so dearly. Mom and I would enjoy catching up with her in town on her scooter. A tradition was to send her our families’ Christmas card each year that I know she was expecting. She was everyone’s mom/grandma and well respected throughout the community. We recently missed attending her 90th Birthday Celebration as we were out of town. Cherish all the memories, sending our sincere condolences.

It saddens me that I cannot be there for Betty’s grand salute. She was a very dear friend, a mentor, and a humanitarian. I will miss my visits with her. I am planting a tree in her honour – the branches will remind me of just how far a reach Betty had in this world. When I sit below them to read, I’m sure to hear Betty’s laughter in the rustling of the leaves. May the winds of heaven dance between us.

I just saw the posting of Betty’s passing. What a shock! My sincere condolences to the entire family..some of you, we knew more than others. She had more energy & vitality than most & I loved her wit and bare-bones attitude.
