I have wonderful memories of my beautiful cousin Valerie before she left Ireland. I was also so privileged to visit Canada twice and meet her great and funny husband Joe and her beautiful girls Jennifer

It has been far too many years since I was in Canada spending time with Valerie and the rest of the Monahan clan. I have very fond memories of the trip when Valerie was nothing but kindness and welcoming. She now rests in peace knowing how much she was loved by all.

I remember seeing Valerie when I was a little girl living across the street from the Grech family. I thought she was the prettiest lady ever. She was always so kind to us and of course so was Joe. After they moved away, it seemed like years went by before I met up with them again in either Goderich or Bayfield. They were still the nicest people ever and she was still so pretty.
