GRAINGER: Darrell Francis of Seaforth

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Darrell Francis Grainger at Huronview Home for the Aged, Clinton on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at the age of 85.

Survived by his wife, Aletha (Chiasson) Grainger, children Ethyl (Peter) Fournier, Cindy (Warren) Davidson, Sheri (Marvin) Taylor and Darrell Grainger. Many thanks to the staff at Huronview for the outstanding care they provided Darrell.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, Seaforth (519-527-1390)

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

To the family, peace and strength.

He was one of the funniest Dads I ever met. He had such lively eyes and a really cheeky grin and that is how I will think of him and remember him.

Condolence from Suzanne Wilson on February 22nd, 2023 2:47 AM

Lee, Ethyl & Peter, Rocky, Sheri & Marvin, & my dearest friend Cindy & Warren, I am terribly sorry for the loss of your husband & father, he was a good man. I can feel your pain & as time goes on I have learnt that it doesn’t hurt any less, you just get use to living with it every day. However, as you all know, there is an eternal life after this fleshly one retires, & that is absolutely something glorious to look forward to. It has become the hope I hang on to, to be with my sister again. Without this hope, we have nothing. Lord Jesus be with you all & comfort & hold you close, this day & every day.
Love always & blessings, Suzi (Sweeney) Wilson. xo
