Condolence from Cathy McKinley on August 21st, 2018 11:41 AM

You all have my deepest sympathy. As you know, Mom (Evelyn) sat with Elsie for meals many times at Bluewater . I was always amazed at her determination to remain independent and also with the grace she showed when she gave permission for me to help her. She will be missed by very many I am sure and I am glad I got to know her in recent times. The red rose placed on her table Sunday morning caused more than one tear…

Condolence from Lois Thiel on August 21st, 2018 5:33 PM

Sincere sympathy to all of Elsie’s family. I was fortunate to have worked at BWRH with such a wonderful lady and caregiver. Caring and compassion for others was certainly her motto and this was displayed in all her interactions with residents on a daily basis. My sympathy to you Jane as well as you also cared deeply for others. Love and prayers to all the family.—Lois Thiel.

My most sincere condolences to each one of Elsie’s family and extended family. Elsie was a wonderful mentor to me when I started working at BWRH; her respect and care for everyone were self evident. She will be missed by many! I have many wonderful memories of the peaceful farm as a child and then later when I picked cherries with our kids and bought fruits and vegetables from Ephraim. May your family/extended family find comfort in each other as you mourn the loss of such a caring lady.
