GINGERH: (Bender) Mary Alice formerly of Zurich

Surrounded by the love of her family, Mary Alice (Bender) Gingerich, formerly of Zurich, passed away on April 5, 2013 at her residence Nithview Home, New Hamburg.
Mary was born 91 years ago in East Zorra Township a daughter of the late Noah and Magdalena (Ruby) Bender. She was a member of the Zurich Mennonite Church. She farmed with her husband Curtis at R.R. 2 Zurich for many years and was a cook at the Bluewater Rest Home, Zurich. Beloved wife of the late Curtis Gingerich (2007) whom she married on October 3, 1942. Loving mother of Don and Sharon Gingerich of R.R. 2, Zurich, Ralph and Yvonne Gingerich of Elmira, Delores and the late Cliff Gingerich of Zurich and Sandi and Leo McCarron of New Hamburg. Sadly missed by her 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Nodaine Bender, Irene Bender, Eileen Bender, Della Gingerich and Alice Gingerich. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and the Bender and Gingerich families. Predeceased by her brothers Melvin (Mabel),Reuben (Alice), Elton(Elda), Curtis, Ervin, Ezra and sisters Verda Bender and Fanny (Reuben) Gingerich.

Visitation in the J. M. McBeath Funeral Home, 49 Goshen St. N., Zurich, Ont on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Zurich Mennonite Church. Pastor Ken Gazley officiating. Spring interment in Zurich Mennonite Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Nithview Home, New Hamburg, Zurich Mennonite Church or Mennonite Central Committee.
