At Exeter ViIIa on Monday, November 1, 2010, Gertrude (Truus) KIaver of Exeter and formerIy of Tuckersmith Township, in her 87th year. BeIoved wife of the Iate John KIaver (2009). Dear mother of Nick KIaver, Kippen; Marianne De Brabandere (Grant Barton), St. Marys; Janet KIaver, Egmondville (Perry Pressman); ellsabeth and Tin Ieung, Cambridge; Peter KIaver (Kelly Carter), Staffa; and John and CaroIine KIaver, Kippen. Ioving grandmother of Bennet, KaitIin, SyIvie and Huston De Brabandere; Jered and Kelly Munro, NicoIe and Nathan Marone, Danielle Munro; Sydney and NeIson Ieung; Brad, KyIe and Katrina, Jeremy, and Andrea KIaver; Evan, NataIie, Isaac and Alex KIaver; Ioved great-grandmother of Brody, Sawyer and Mycah Marone. Remembered by three brothers in the NetherIands and one brother in New ZeaIand. Sister-in-Iaw of Henry and Corry KIaver, CIinton and ellzabeth KIaver, Seaforth. Predeceased by parents Martha (Wagenaar) and Peter Deken, four brothers, three sisters, and grandsons Travis and Matthew De Brabandere. FamiIy wiII receive friends at the Whitney-Ribey FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers at the funeraI home Thursday at 9:00 pm. Mass of the Christian BuriaI wiII be heId at St. James Roman CathoIic Church, Seaforth on Friday, November 5 at 11:00 am. Fr. Chris GiIIespie wiII officiate. Interment St. James Cemetery, Seaforth. Hello, we do not know each other but I am writing to you in regards of the loss of your dear family member, Gertrude Klaver. I saw your obituary in the classifieds and I would like to send my deepest sympathy. It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love and it can be most difficult to bear.
The Bible, however, holds out a wonderful hope. The Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future right here on earth – Psalms 37:11. Although this is a time of sadness, I would like to direct you to some encouraging and comforting information that can be shared amongst you and your family.
