Gerard “Gerry” Crunican

At LHSC – University Hospital, on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, of Middlesex Centre, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late June (Mallett) Crunican (1991). Dear father of Mark Crunican of Middlesex Centre, Paul Crunican and Bernadette and Shawn Johns all of RR#6 St. Marys. Dear grandfather of Hope and Chantel Johns. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Pat and Bernice Crunican of Middlesex Centre and Joan and Pat White of St. Catharines. Predeceased by his brother Father Paul Crunican and his sister Jane Crunican. Also remembered by several nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Saturday, February 19th for visitation from 1-2 pm where a memorial service will take place at 2:30 pm with Rev. Darrell Shaule officiating. Cremation with interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London has taken place.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the VON Middlesex-Elgin would be appreciated by the family.

I have many fond memories of Gerry. He was one of my favourite associates in the apple industry. He always had time to share his ideas on apple production , but never without talking about his family as well. He will be missed.

I am your father’s cousin from Québec. My mother and your grandmother were sisters. I remember being in London at my aunt Bernadette’s funerals.
