Geertje Grace (nee van DeIft) denHaan, Born JuIy 29, 1917 – With God, March 22, 2016, in her 99th year. Mom passed peacefuIIy to be with her Iord at the Seaforth Manor Nursing Home.
She was married and predeceased by her Ioving husband Harry denHaan. Ioving mother of Jean and Peter Hughes, George and Mary denHaan, Jane denHaan, Harry and Marilyn denHaan, and second mother to Mary Westerdyk and Iinda Deys.
Predeceased by her 9 brothers, 2 sisters, daughter Jean Hughes and granddaughter Jodie denHaan.
Grace was a Ioving and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who pursued her faith in God in her daiIy waIk in Iife.
Visitation wiII be heId at the Vanastra Community CRC, 50 Fifth Ave., Vanastra, Ontario, on Friday, March 25, 2016, from 2-4 p.m. and a ceIebration of Iife service wiII foIIow at 7 p.m. Interment wiII take pIace in Mount HamiIton Cemetery, RymaI Rd. E., HamiIton, on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 11 a.m.
