Isabelle is the last of Art Long’s first cousins. He has memories of her as a young girl moving to outside of Wardsville and joining him to Oak Grove School. He remembers her as a happy girl with a big smile. When they became adults he didn’t see her as often although looked forward to their visits at Uncle Archie’s.

Our sincere sympathy goes to all of you. Isabel was one of the most kind and gracious ladies we have had the privilege of knowing. I have so many fond memories of her and all your family as we grew up in Zurich. Everyone who had the privilege of being in Brownies, Girl Guides, and simply shopping at Tasty Nu will remember her with only wonderful thoughts. Gosh we were lucky to grow up at that time in such a tight knit community! She set an example and standard we should all strive for, quiet generosity in life so often can speak volumes to many!

I have so many happy memories of our European tour with the Gaschos and Trickeys and get-togethers since – no matter the distances and times between we always were able to share a laugh (and glass of wine!). We met Isabel & Allan and Hal & Laurie Adamson in Switzerland in 1977 and were fortunate to share many reunions often in the Gascho family homes in Zurich – such happy memories full of laughter, good food and wine!
