GAMBLE: James “Jamie” of Bracebridge and formerly of Barrie
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loved one, James “Jamie” Gamble. Jamie left us on January 14, 2022 at the age of 48, born January 10, 1974. Jamie was living in Bracebridge formerly from Barrie, Ontario.

He is survived by his loving partner, Charmaine “Char” Murphy, his father Peter James Gamble (Anne), of Cross Point, QC, his mother Ethel May Tomlin (formerly Gamble) of Hagersville, ON. His loving sisters, Pamela Jane Schotanus (Brian) of Hagersville ON , Crystal Leigh Gamble- Tustin (Jeff) of Angus ON, and Bonnie Jean Stead (Shannon) of Alberta. His children, Kaylee Amber Gamble, Kendra Gamble, Jacksyn William Gamble and their mother. His sweet grandsons, August “Auggie” and Donovan “Donnie”. His nieces, Paisley, Amanda (her son Lief), and Madelaine, He was predeceased by his grandparents, William and Jeanie Gamble and Marshal and Dorothy Dwinnell.

Jamie will be very fondly remembered by many cousins, workmates, extended family and friends. Jamie truly touched the lives of everyone he met. He was an incredibly unforgettable man, and the power of his smile and laughter made every day a little brighter. Everyone who knew Jamie, has at least one memory of him that makes them smile. Whether it was yesterday, or years ago. That was the power of our amazing Jamie. Jamie had a great love for his creator, GOD. He was a fierce protector of family and friends.  He was a kind and generous human. He was always the first person to give a helping hand with any project you were working on, often putting his own needs last. Jamie developed his extremely strong work ethic, as a young boy, working with his father and was known as one of the best finish carpenters in Muskoka. Jamie was the life of the party and loved a good ole neighbourhood garage dance party. The things that really lit Jamie up were golf days with buddies, talking about his high school memories at Eastview Secondary School and the shenanigans with  Phil, Paul and Chad.

Oh, how wonderful life was, with you in this world.

Considering Jamie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Haskett Funeral Home, ZURICH entrusted with arrangements. A Celebration of Life for Jamie will be held on June 26, 2022 in Bracebridge.

In Lieu of flowers please consider donations to Muskoka-Parry Sound Community Mental Health Program.

Sending my deepest sympathy to you Char and Jamie’s family/friends. 💔❤ My heart hurts for you all

Jamie, you came into our lives with such a bang! Your warmest smile, your gentle touch, your thoughtfulness, your words of encouragement, your zest for friendship and you always knew how to have a good time. For all those reasons and more you will forever be missed but, never forgotten.

I hope you are resting easy my beautiful friend. This not not a good bye. Rather then, we’ll see you on the other side.

R.I.P Jamie Gamble 🙏❤

So many childhood memories Jamie. Camping at the KOA, and countless hours as a child, you and Bonnie by my side. We lost touch, but never the fondness of you. I am still in shock, and I hope you are in a better place now. Will never forget your warm smile, and your contagious laugh. You will forever be a fond memory of my childhood. Thank you.

My heart goes out to all of Jamie’s loved ones. Sending love and hugs to all.
