FUGGLE: Unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, May 13, 2022, David George Fuggle, age 83 recently of Mount Forest, formerly of London, Grand Bend and Cheltenham. Beloved husband of the late Gwendoline “Gwen” (Thompson) Fuggle (2021) for 61 years. Loved father of Ian (Linda) Fuggle of Belleville, Andrew (Dianne) Fuggle of Brampton, and Kathryn Carney of Mount Forest. Cherished poppa of Alysha, David, and Nathan Carney. Predeceased by his loving parents Edgar and Kathleen Grace (Goodsell) Fuggle, brother Leonard (Julie) Fuggle of England, and brother Graham (Cynthia) Fugle of Mississauga. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. An avid traveler with his wife, he visited all 10 Canadian Provinces crossing Canada coast to coast twice. They also visited all 50 States, most of the Caribbean Islands and Central America. His final trip was to the Canary Islands on the Queen Elizabeth. At David’s request, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. He was one of the nicest people I’ve ever known. I enjoyed working with him for many years at 23 Division and was welcomed into their home in Cheltenham on more than one occasion. I am sure his children and grandchildren will greatly miss him and can assure them he was always held in high regard by his fellow officers.
