She is reunited with Mike now, and I hope your memories bring you comfort in the future.

Our thoughts are with the family. We have fond memories of Thanksgiving dinners together in the 70’s and later.
Mike and Elsie helped us out when we first came to Canada and sometimes would look after our boys as if they were part of their own family when needed.

Elsie is leaving a big hole in the life of many.
We lost her but we gained an Angel in Heaven
to pray for all of us who loved her.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother. Elsie and Mike were friends of my parents (Arie and Corrie). They enjoyed spending time with them at Lake Huron and sailing in their younger years. It was a pleasure knowing your parents.
