Frieda M. (James) Stewart. Peacefully, with her family at her side at LHSC University Hospital on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Art Stewart. Dear mother of Sharron and Heinz Jansel and Jerry and Bev Stewart all of London, Shirley Stewart, Charlene and Ken Carruthers and Michael Stewart all of Ilderton, Brian and Alison Gailling of Mission, B.C. and Sheila and Brian Kelly of Nairn. Dear grandmother of Chris, Matt and Angie; Dustin and Jen, Rebecca; Tara and Andrew, Chad, Marissa; Reece, Liam; Tyler and Luke. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Fred James of London, Beatrice and George Lee of Ailsa Craig, Walter Gecas of Paris, Nettie Osmond of Ilderton and Gwen Miles of Ailsa Craig. Predeceased by a sister Violet Gecas and brother Bill James. Frieda will be sadly missed by all of the James and Stewart families. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Friday, February 20th at 2 PM with Rev. Sue McCullough officiating. Cremation with interment Telfer Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to Telfer Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
