Peacefully, at home, with family by her side on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 Freda (Young) Van Arenthals of Lucan in her 80th year.  Beloved wife of Jake Van Arenthals.  Dear mother of Gloria and Teddy Ouimet of Strathroy and John and Karen Arenthals of Lucan.  Dear grandmother of Duane and Shauna, Adrienne and Jude, Jason, Breanne; Jordan, Josh and Alannah.  Also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.  Dear sister and sister-in-law of Jim Young of Strathroy, Marie Cain of London, Yvonne and Ernest McCarthy of St.Thomas, Bob and Pat Young of St. Marys, Ken and Marion Young of Chatham, John Young of Kettle Point, Patricia and Jack Benda of London, Shirley Young of Strathroy and Glen Kennedy of Wiarton.  Predeceased by a granddaughter Sarah, a sister Gertrude Kennedy and a brother Fred Young.  Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 24th at 11 AM with Rev. Darrell Shaule officiating.  Interment St. James Cemetery, Clandeboye.  Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
