FRAWLEY: Timothy David of Seaforth

It is with great sadness and love that we announce the passing of our beloved father, brother, uncle and friend on Friday March 28, 2025. After a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer, Tim passed away peacefully at home with his children by his side.

Tim was born on May 1, 1950, in Stillwater Minnesota. Tim’s family moved to Canada when Tim was a teenager. He attended Wilfred Laurier University where he earned a degree in psychology. Tim was a voracious reader, a lifetime learner and an intellect who loved a good discussion. Tim was a proud and loving father to his 3 children, Kristin (Frawley) Daniel, Lucas Frawley and Rebecca Frawley.

He proudly shared in KC’s professional journey and travels, loving her fearlessness and spirit. Tim loved sharing Lucas’s journey discovering good food and good spirits as he advanced in the hospitality industry. He greatly appreciated the thoughtful contributions that Lucas made to the whiskey wall and their opportunities to share in a tasting or two. Tim loved watching Becca grow into the beautiful, stubborn and accomplished young woman that she is. It was a very special day for Tim to attend Becca’s graduation as a nurse. Next to his children, golf was his greatest joy. Each day, rain or shine, through rounds of chemotherapy and radiation Tim still showed up at the links with his Tilley hat and cigar in hand to share his thoughts on life with his 3 amigos. A great man is not determined by how they handle things during the good times but by how they face adversity. Tim faced his challenges with courage and determination.

Tim was a warrior! He handled each day with humour and grace. He always seemed to have the ability to put his family and friends’ needs above himself. Tim was a great man. Tim was a true friend and will be missed.

Honouring Tim’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Instead, there will be a private celebration of life at a later date.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Dear KC, Lucas & Becca:

We were very sad to learn of your father’s passing. He was a great guy and a great neighbor out on Summerhill Rd. When we think of him, we think of his dogs, golf, books, the old Coca Cola cooler, his Tilley hat, peach pie and the ‘Butt Hut’. When we picture him, it is with a smile on his face and his laughter. So sorry for your loss. With deepest sympathy.

To Tim’s family,
I just found out today of Tim’s passing, and I want to send my sincere condolences. Tim was an invaluable help to me and my husband in finding placement for our Down Syndrome son 15 years ago. His unfailing direction and encouragement was, at the time, and still is, very much appreciated.
