Sending my condolences. He was an entertaining fella and I always enjoyed our good laughs and chats when I went home to visit in Seaforth. May your wonderful memories of your Father, sustain at this most difficult time.

C4th looses another big piece of our local history. Frank has left a lasting memory for so many families through his years of documentation through pictures and his willingness to share them. Cherish the memories.

Frank was a thread woven into the fabric of Seaforth and his skill as a photographer will leave us lasting impressions of life in our small town for years to come. To the family, many of whom I knew as a youngster, I offer my sincere sympathy. He lived a good, long life and will be fondly remembered by many in our community.

One of my favourite memories is when I shared some photos of Frank at the cenotaph and he, a professional photographer insisted on paying me, a rank amateur for the photo. He was very appreciative of the photos and I appreciated that he liked my work.

We are so sorry for your loss. Frank was the first person we met when we moved to Seaforth. We were so blessed to have such a kind, wonderful neighbour. He took countless pictures of our family & we will treaure them always. Frank will hold a special place in our hearts.

Frank was my wedding photographer,he made the day a memorable one. He was a wonderful man who will truly be missed.

Frank was a great man. A community man. Everyone knew who he was driving around in his little wooden car. He was also a great neighbour. Grew up with all the Phillips kids. We had a lot of fun as kids in our neighbourhood.

Frank was a wonderful and well respectd man, a real character..always good for some laughter to uplift your day. He was a dedicated Legion and community man, a pillar in the Seaforth community. He served his country well and leaves a trove of memories over his lifetime through his community involvement and photography. Frank will never be forgotten.

To the Phillips family:
Mr. Phillips was a key part of our town of Seaforth and its history. His little car was often seen in and around town when I was growing up there. Once I sat at the Cenotaph writing down our fallen&&single&&s names to do some research, when he stopped to talk to me. He showed me a photo of himself from World War II and a picture of a medal. I learned he was awarded the Croix de Guerre during the war and I asked him what he received it for. His response…”I promised the French government that I would leave the ladies alone!” I never did discover the reason as he stated he would take that with him. He was a wonderful man with a wicked sense of humour. My deepest condolences on Frank&&single&&s passing. He will always be thought of with great fondness.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Frank. My sympathy to his family, but also to the community of Seaforth and all those who knew him. He was a presence so vibrant, that the world will seem a little duller without him in it. Many have expressed what a great photographer he was, and that was true. But I think he had a sneaky trick….with a character like Frank behind the camera, how could a person not smile? He will be missed.

Frank came into our lives,many years ago.Linda and Brian were dating at the time . We were visiting with him,made us feel so welcome in his home. Turns out a winter storm gave us the chance to stay over. Frank welcomed us with open arms.Kind man that had many talents. Condolences to the families.

Our condolences are extended to the Phillips family in the passing of Frank. He touched many lives not only in Seaforth but the surrounding area through his photography, his dedication to the Legion and as a volunteer driver for the cancer society. He loved his hometown and he will be missed.

Our condolences to the Phillips family. Frank was a longtime next door neighbour and for the years that followed would often stop and chat as he moved around the town. When we attend the weekly card games at the legion we are surrounded by a part of his photography and his dedication to the legion. The many displays depict his ability to showcase each event. So many memories for posterity.

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of an incredible and unforgettable family member who gave us years of fun,laughter and inspiration. Uncle Frank was a caring, friendly and outgoing man who loved people and loved conversing and reminiscing. He had a sense of humour, enjoyed sarcasm and often had a dirty joke to share. He loved life, learning and friendship. In a time of need, you could always count on him for help. He was a great historian and had an amazing memory with names.

Uncle Frank was a successful photographer who captured weddings, anniversaries, and other special moments for many people in Huron County. He would often be seen touring around not only in Huron County but often in other Southwestern areas in his little homemade car that struck an interest and conversation in people. He had a photocopier in the back seat and if he saw something of interest, he would stop and take a picture and photocopy it for the recipient.

Frank shared some interesting stories about his World War II experiences and we thank him for serving our Country and for contributing such an outstanding war display with lots of memorabilia at the Legion. Excellent craftsmanship on the cabinets.

Uncle Frank showed tremendous strength in overcoming the many challenges that life presented to him over the years.

Thank you for being such an important part of our lives. We loved you dearly Uncle Frank. Heaven has gained a real character!

Frank has left some great memories and to lose him is definitely Heaven&&single&&s gain. I will never forget him and he will be missed by very many, more than you can imagine. His legacy will live on forever. I have several pictures which he created of the town buildings and I will treasure them even more.
