Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Forrest family in this very difficult time. I personally remember Bob being at Gary and my wedding. When I introduced him to my mother, he called her Mrs. Red Squirrel because he couldn’t pronounce it correctly…it was really Rescorl. More recently he would drop coffee spoons into my purse when we’d stop into Donuts Now. He was quite a jokester. We know this is a tough time, but the we’re sure the memories will keep him alive in your hearts forever. Now Gary and Bob are together again.

Trust us, we know how difficult it is by having someone taken from us way too soon. I have many memories of your dad and beautiful mom growing up in Exeter. Our parents shared many laughs over the years and I enjoyed spending time with you too…I guess it was called babysitting, but that makes me feel really old. Hopefully you may find comfort in all the wonderful memories you have and may there be peace in knowing they are together again sharing those laughs. Hugs to you all…Andrea, Craig, Garrett, Luke, Nancy & Wayne and of course (from Steve in heaven)
Lisa, Lucas and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. May you find strength in all the times and memories you shared.
Just a great guy to be around. Always joking and a lot of fun. I’ll always remember our time together on the Exeter Fire Dept. To Bob – my respect. To His family – my condolences.
What a touching tribute to Bob today! His life was truly celebrated. He made such an impact of each of your life`s. Hold those memories close. Our thoughts are with each of you.
To Pukey Lukey,Lisa,Doug,Lauren,Marlene and families,
I’ve tried hard and true to find words to describe ‘Bob’.So many words and expressions came to mind and it was difficult to chose.
The best 2 words I know are ‘character’ and ‘enigma’.
I had the privilege to work for Bob and be a firefighter along side of him. The first time I drove the tanker with him in the passenger seat,
he told me “Kate! you gotta double clutch the B..” There are so many great memories, not just for all of us, but for you kids and Lauren. Keep a smile in your heart and it will show the large smile on your faces.
AKA ‘Kate’ ‘Katelyn’
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. Your happy memories will be of great comfort in the sad days ahead. Thinking of you.
Lisa Lucas and Family: So sorry to hear about your Dad he was a great man and a good friend. We have fond memories of his Mitchell days. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this sad and difficult time. Deepest Sympathy to all
Hugs to all Ernie & Dianne Ahrens xo
