Jean, my cousin, and I spent many a Summer together and had our first paying job together at the Imperial Hotel in Grand Bend. I will always remember her wonderful laugh and how she enjoyed life. Jack was also part of those early times . She and Jack had a way of enjoying life and meeting good times and bad. Even though we were living a distance from each other, when we met we could take up where we left off, be it years before. I am sure the Good Lord met her smiling, and received her with open arms. I will be making a donation to St Anthony’s kitchen in Palo Alto, California in her memory.

I have wonderful memories of heading to your family cottage. It’s where I honed my bass fishing skills, received my first set of stitches! Because you know… sending your children out to catch crayfish with a glass fishbowl makes sense. (parenting fail. Jeanie, what a wonderful person. Leon and I will never forget travelling with the whole family to BC for a wedding.
