I’m so sorry to hear of Stan’s passing. I always looked forward to our daily chats when I walked by his house. He will be greatly missed. You have my deepest condolences.

I am sorry to hear about Stan. Keith and I used to enjoy our visits with Stan and Diane when she was still here and we were able to walk that far. Like you said he is able to enjoy her turkey dinners and butter tarts now. You have my deepest sympathy.

I am so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. I have lately seen the odd thing of Facebook about your parents to know of your moms passing and your dads declining health. Immediately bringing me back in time to the time spent with you, Kim at your home, when we went to Western Fair and I got lost and in general every time from there forward to ever meeting your Dad on the street to his warm smile greeting. I am sure that you will miss him immensely but knowing he is with your Mom will give you
both some peace having the two of them together again. God speed to you Stan, to your Diane free of pain and now watching over your family from above, guiding them through life

Wonderful guy! Once on a bus trip to Toronto he turned the bus around and drove back through 4 oclock Toronto traffic to the place where I had left my papers. Who else would have done that? I’ll never forget that kindness

We have missed the beauty of your Mom & Dad’s home, (since your Mom’s passing), at holiday times and especially Christmas it was always so wonderfully decorated and lit and we still have fond memories of passing by it all shining and bright with the tree front and centre in the window.
We will also remember your father questioning us with “Who is walking Who”, when we would be passing by the house, being pulled at the end of a very tight leash by our little 5 pound Toy Poodle / Chihuahua mix Moe desperate to get home to get his treat for going for a walk.
Having also lost my father to cancer this year I know how tough it is and how challenging celebrating them can be in this socially distancing time of Covid.
The neighbourhood will not be the same without them and the joy they brought it but they will be remembered in fond memories. Those memories bring us joy and we hope they do for all of you as well.
