FISCHER: Peacefully, at Jessica’s House Residential Hospice, Exeter, on Friday, June 24, 2022, Norman William Fischer of RR 1, Dashwood, age 86. Beloved husband of 64 years to Amy Darlene (Fisher) Fischer. Loved father and father-in-law of Susan Fischer of London and Bill and Shirley Fischer of Grand Bend. Loved grandpa of Brendan Fischer of Grand Bend and Michael Fischer and friend Cassie of Exeter. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Ivan Fischer of Niagara Falls, Lois Grady of Essex, Alma Fischer of London, Amelia Dearing of RR1, Exeter and Joan Kennedy of Port Franks. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents William Frederick and Ethel May (Carrick) Fischer, in-laws Charles Jeffrey and Olive Lorraine (Dobbs) Fisher, brother Russell Fischer, sister Betty Bierling, brothers-in-law Norman Bierling, Bill Grady, Donald Dearing and Donald Fisher. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood with Visitation on Monday, June 27, 2022 from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Mr. Bob Heywood Officiant. Private Interment Pinery Cemetery, Grand Bend. Norm and Amy owned and operated Norm Fischer Plumbing and Electrical for many years before passing it on to his son. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to the Alzheimer Society Huron Perth; Jessica’s House Residential Hospice, Exeter or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
