Cherished mother of Teresa Hickey (Jim), William (Connie), MichaeI (Faye), EIeanor, Joan, Fergus (Ruth Anne), and Reverend Father Joseph Devereaux. Ioved grandmother to 15 grandchiIdren, 32 great-grandchiIdren, one niece and nephew. Predeceased by her parents, MichaeI and JuIia Murray; daughter, Anne Marie; brothers and sister-in-Iaw, Iawrence and Mary Murray, Kenneth and Joseph Murray; and in-Iaws, William and ellen Devereaux.
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home (519-527-1390), 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth on Sunday, ApriI 14, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Parish prayers wiII be offered at the funeraI home on Sunday, ApriI 14 at 8:00 p.m. Requiem Mass to be heId at St. James Roman CathoIic Church, 22 Victoria Street, Seaforth, on Monday, ApriI 15 at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Florence had an exceptional life.
She was one of those of whom could be said “She was among the Last Left Standing”…. a tribute to her amazing longevity.
Truly, Heaven now holds one new Saint, in Florence. May she be filled with the Love, and Peace, and Joy of Christ.
