What a great man! I first met Roy in the early 80’s when he delivered the wooden crates of Pepsi products for Tuckeys, He always had a good joke or a wise crack that would put a smile on your face.

How I got to know Roy Ferguson: We’d opened The Old Homestead and Ferguson’s had moved in. I told Roy we needed a cooler for the store so we could sell Pepsi and other items. Roy said no cooler was available. That’s fine was my reply, the Coke guy is stopping by early next week. In two or three days the Pepsi cooler arrived on a truck with Roy. Put it in the store and we were in business! Never dull with Roy around, one just had to know how to deal with him. I’m still giggling after all these years. – Ken
