A more faithful women I have never met! She never judged anyone and gossip was not even in her vocabulary. In her quiet way she mentored gently, always directing with her life experience-born wisdom. My dear cousins, our deepest sympathies are with you. I would tell you that Aunt Cecilia was always a guiding light for me and for my family. We visited occasionally when we would be in Bayfield to see Mom and Dad, but not often enough. I always felt close with Aunt Cecilia as my godmother. And I have a memory of staying with you at the farm when mom and dad (Mike/Yvonne) took Lori and Lynn to Disney after Jeffrey passed away. I would have been less than 2, but it has always been a memory or my imagination, that’s stayed with me my whole life.

We don’t get to see one another very often anymore, but please know that our thoughts, prayers and love are with all of you. Your mom was an incredible woman and role model for many. We love you.

I personally did not know cecelia but I certainly knew her granddaughter and family erin and Jamey . Erin always talked fondly of her grandmother and I could certainly see the love that they had for there dearest grandmother . From the pictures that were shared the smiles the love was clearly visible . She was a remarkable women that had such a passion for life and her family .

We would like to extend our sincere condolences to the Farwell-Hartman family. Cecelia and Louis were good friends to us over many years. I (Coby) first met Cecilia when we were both in the same room at St. Jospeh’s Hospital in London in 1958. As I went off to surgery, she told me she would pray for me. When we moved to the Zurich area in 1965, she was such a welcoming familiar face. We shared many enjoyable social times over the years. I have many great memories of her. She is missed.

Cecelia was such a warm loving person. It was my privilege to clean for her but more so to be her friend. Many times she would prepare lunch and this is when we would sit down and have great conversation.I am so blessed that she was a part of my life and I will cherish that forever. Aunt Cecilia offered me many good examples in life. I will share two. One lasting memory I have is when she was my leader in 4H. I remember that she was a very patient teacher and I was impressed that she gave her time to help those in the community. Another memory for me is how she carried herself. As I grew older, I noticed and appreciated her example of modest attire and how she was so graceful. May she rest in Eternal Peace.

What a beautiful tribute to your Mom . I think she would have liked the simplicity of faith, family, and nature as backdrop to her send off. As someone who just yesterday alphabetized her spices, I am happy to share this family trait/organizational skill with Aunt Cec. Hugs to all.
