Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital on Monday, July 28, 2008 Evelyn Violet Elmyra (Whitlock) Horne of Exeter and formerly of Usborne Township in her 102^nd year. Beloved wife of the late Freeman Victor Horne (1995). Dear mother of Kathleen Grubb of Usborne Township, Ruth Johnson of London and Raymond and Elizabeth Horne of Usborne Township. Dear grandmother of Michael, Glenn, Andrew and Jennifer, Susan and Gerald; Shelley and Chris, Jodi and Eduardo and Jeremy and Jana and great-grandmother of 7 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters Irene, Verna and Joy and her brother Clifford. Music was Evelyn’s greatest joy in life and it will be missed by her family, parishioners of Thames Road/Elimville United Church and the residents of the Exeter Villa. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Monday 7-9 PM where the private family funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5^th with Rev. Judith Ritchie officiating. Cremation with interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to the Thames Road/Elimville United Church would be appreciated by the family.
